Pizza dough is an essential element of any good pizza. Homemade dough is soft, elastic and has a delicate flavour that goes well with a variety of toppings. Preparing pizza dough at home is simple and requires only a few basic ingredients. The most important thing is to knead the dough well, making it elastic and easy to stretch into thin slices. It is also worth taking the time to let the dough rise so that it develops the right structure and volume.
Homemade pizza is the perfect way to cook together with family or friends. You can experiment with different toppings to create your favourite version of pizza. When baking, the dough becomes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which makes the pizza taste special. This is a recipe worth having in your kitchen collection, as homemade pizza always tastes best.

Forming the pizza:
- Once risen, divide the dough into 2-3 parts, roll out into thin pancakes and add your favourite toppings.
Baking pizzas:
- Preheat the oven to 220-250°C, put the pizza in for 10-15 minutes.
NOTES
- Flour: Using '00' flour will make the dough more elastic, ideal for pizzas.
- Yeast: Make sure the water is warm but not hot so that the yeast can work properly.
- Kneading the dough: If the dough is too sticky, add more flour a little at a time.
- Baking a cake: Remember to keep an eye on the pizza while it is baking, as the time may vary slightly depending on your oven. The pizza is ready when the dough is golden and the cheese is well melted and lightly browned.
